I've tried the release and the latest beta installers, but both report the same issue.

same one avast. checked virus total, and it seems legit. Did a bit of research and it seems this gets flagged for false positives quite often. It should be find to create an exception but be careful.

To the best of my knowledge this is a false positive. You're welcome to upload it here https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/upload and verify.

We'll submit a false positive report to these anti viruses.

If you're concerned, as always, avoid using the software.

(I'm from the LM Studio team) I just submitted reports to AVG, Avast, Norton asking them to verify this is a false positive, and fix the warning. For future people running into this, please share a full screenshot of your anti virus with all the info. Thanks!
