AVG reporting IDP.HEUR.26 virus when using LMstudio.exe #146
Comments
Same for me, AVAST also reported the same. |
same one avast. checked virus total, and it seems legit. Did a bit of research and it seems this gets flagged for false positives quite often. It should be find to create an exception but be careful. |
Norton detected the same. |
To the best of my knowledge this is a false positive. You're welcome to upload it here https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/upload and verify. We'll submit a false positive report to these anti viruses. If you're concerned, as always, avoid using the software. |
(I'm from the LM Studio team) I just submitted reports to AVG, Avast, Norton asking them to verify this is a false positive, and fix the warning. For future people running into this, please share a full screenshot of your anti virus with all the info. Thanks! |
Hi man Thx for the fast response and for your awesome work! Cheers |
