Currently both VS and VSCode Extensions are not published as Microsoft. We should follow the guide Extension Publisher Guides to join the 1P extension club.

this was done by design as asked by Peter, who asked for that?
Typespec published was registered as a sub publisher to microsoft

hhm it looks like we lost the verification to microsoft.com or needed to do it again(do vaguelly remember an email saying that after 6month needed to renew it for new publisher)

@allenjzhang did it last time, we need to add some txt entry to the microsoft DNS for verification

Oh, seems we didn't have the context. Rodge and I just think microsoft as the publisher would encourage more awareness and usage.

@allenjzhang , could you help to verify the microsoft.com again for vscode extension? Or any guidance that we can follow to do it ourselves? thanks.
