The idea behind that was to use different shapes for different purposes, in that case product lists, shopping lists and pantries. Maybe it was not a good idea :)

I'm talking here about the white cards, not the buttons.
But as you mention it, and to be honest, the different shapes for the buttons are just a cognitive overload that does not bring value (there's already a section title for product lists, shopping lists and pantries)

OK, understood.
IMHO even the product lists, shopping lists and pantries lead to cognitive overload; that's why I suggested to focus on the "Choose mode" (cf. #334) where there are no shopping lists nor pantries. For the moment.
