@cbunicef This has been solved in the latest LTS version 4.1.*, they have introduced live (auto-reflect changes) preview mode within the admin editor

Looks great. I would love to bring us to that LTS eventually, but I understand it is a major process.

Is there anything we can do in the short term, even to set the expectations for Admins so that they don't think they are creating the survey incorrectly?

@cbunicef The temporary solution is to remove the "View Draft" button from the listing page in order to prevent users from experiencing unexpected behavior when viewing a page as a draft. However, it has been noted that the issue may also be present with the "Preview" button, should we remove this button too?

As long as we can remove only for forms/questionnaires, yes please remove both.
