It would be nice if we can get Wasp to run natively on Windows OS. References on this were made in issue #48.

Beyond actually making a Windows binary, we could start the investigation by seeing how other frameworks/libraries like Bun or Prisma handle installations of their Windows binaries. There are multiple options which don't exclude each other:

  1. .ps1 installer script which would be run in a similar way (copy pasting and running in terminal) as the current installation script
  2. a npm package which would be installed globally, similar to what Angular does.

Option number 2 could be used for all OS's then.

I think this issue needs to be resolve asap .. bcz most of the developers works on windows as well and setting wsl is really a pain point
