Hi! Thanks for Zellij. I've found it very useful.

Is there a way to turn off the functionality of trying to run the last executed command? This gets in my way (I never used that feature) and can sometimes be very counterproductive.

Cheers.

As far as I can tell, you've got two options:

  1. Setting close_on_exit to true so that it just exits to your shell instead of prompting you to run the command again.
  2. Or if you're seeing that prompt when running zellij attach, it's likely resurrecting the session. That functionality can be disabled with the session_serialization option. May need to delete existing sessions first before resurrection stops happening.
