Darkscience is no more bridged to freenode / libera, either somebody should run that bot again or that line must be changed too. |

Thanks for this. Will hook up to libera with my bouncer shortly :) People can let me know which servers they think should be bridged and I'll restart the bridge bot, again, shortly. |

To be clear, it wasnt me that moved the logging bot. That bot is run by kanzure who does it for the whole ecosystem of bitcoin channels, and he moved over to libera. |

About relay bots - would be no problem for me to run it too. Could it be done that there is multiple bots running and there is some fallback between them? (bot B idles while bot A is doing it's job, otherwise B starts acting) |

The bot running is pretty trivial and it's on an always-running VPS so I think it should be fine, thanks for the offer @kristapsk (I'm up on libera now with my bouncer) ACK on this PR. I tested that the webchat link works for libera. |

@chris-belcher (given you are a mod in the Freenode channel) I noticed that the Freenode channel is still very popular with folks; no active discussions, but people are staying & more people keep joining ... in fact I see more people there than in the new Libera channel. Maybe we should make the topic clearer? Currently it says the below. Thus, people need to click a link to learn about the move to Libera ... but people are lazy ;-) What about: |
changes README.md to promote the official channel on the libera IRC network instead of freenode. This move is motivated by the changes in administration and management on freenode.
@chris-belcher has already set up the channel and moved the logging bot over.
